DIETARY SUPPLEMENTThe present invention relates to a composition for use as a dietary supplement for use to balance the diet, in which the ingredients in combination have a significant triggering effect in relation to achieving weight reduction.The present invention relates to a composition for use as a dietary supplement for use to balance the diet in order to promote weight loss while reducing the requirement for food and increasing the metabolic rate. The diet-balancing dietary supplement may be made from a ready-mixed formula which comprises one or more of the following active ingredients: raspberry ketones, fish peptides, glucomannan, vitamin C, gamboge fruit, zinc and chrome, where the ingredients together provide an extra triggering effect in achieving a weight reduction.There are large numbers of people who are overweight or very overweight. Many strategies for weight loss are based on significant limitations of quantities of calorie intake and/or increase in the rate at which the body metabolises nutrients from the daily calorie intake or stored body fat, which is normally done by aerobic exercise to achieve a weight loss. Even though these are effective strategies for achieving weight loss, many find it difficult to start with an exercise program and at the same time continue with reduced calorie intake.Today, there are a large number of dietary supplements that are intended to supplement a regular diet.Dietary supplements are nutrients that are intended to supplement a regular diet, where the products should be concentrated sources of vitamins and minerals or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect. In addition, dietary supplements must be sold in pre-packed and dosed form, and are intended to be taken in small, measured quantities.Dietary supplements must also meet four criteria in order to be defined as dietary supplements. The four criteria are:1. dietary supplements are intended to supplement the diet.Under normal circumstances, a normal and varied diet provides all the nutrients required for normal development and maintaining of good health. Due to a lifestyle, illness or other reasons, consumers may want to supplement their intake of some nutrients by taking a dietary supplement. Dietary supplements are nutrients that are intended to supplement the diet, either with nutrients or with other substances with a nutritional effect or a physiological effect. Dietary supplements must supplement the diet, and at the same time be concentrated sources of substances. They should therefore not contain a significant source of energy.2. Dietary supplements must be “concentrated sources of vitamins and minerals and/or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect”.To ensure that the dietary supplement is a real supplement, the product must comprise significant quantities of vitamins and minerals or other concentrated substances which have a nutritional or physiological effect. It is possible either to use isolated and pure compounds, or to use a natural source that has a high content of one or more substances.3. The dietary supplement must be sold in a pre-packed form with measured doses.Products which are sold in the form of fluids or powders must be accompanied by a measuring spoon, to ensure the correct dose for the consumer. It is not sufficient to indicate a number of ml or grams per daily dose on the package.4. Dietary supplements are intended to be taken in small, measured quantities, such as capsules, pastilles, tablets, pills, powder sachets, ampoules, dropper bottles and similar for fluids and powders.It can be difficult to set an exact quantity for what is defined as “small, measured quantities”. For liquid products, “small measured quantities” must be less than the quantities normally consumed of ordinary beverages. A recommended guideline for a maximum limit is 50 ml per daily dose.At the same time, the intention of the product must be considered. A dietary supplement should supplement the diet, not replace it.Dietary supplements that are sold in powder form must sometimes be dissolved in water/liquid according to instructions for use before they are consumed. Here it is the powder that is of importance and must be considered in relation to “small measured quantities”, not the water. When the powder is dissolved in water (in any desired quantity), the water must not serve no other purpose than to dissolve the powder, so that it is possible to consume it. It is not a drink and is not meant to be a drink.Thus, there is a need for a weight control that is practical for the user. The composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement according to the invention should actively promote a reduction of fat and weight without significant side effects. There is also a need for a natural reduction of the user's urge to overeat, while the composition is offered in a simple, rapidly effective form that is practical and easy to use.The present invention relates to a composition for use as a dietary supplement for use to balance a diet, in which the main ingredients in combination have an extra triggering effect in relation to achieving weight reduction.The composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement in the form of portions comprising plant components of plant extracts and peptides from fish, for example salmon, is characterised by the composition:Raspberry ketones 100 mg to 400 mgFish peptides 1000 mg to 15000 mgGlucomannan 1000 mg to 5000 mgIn addition, the composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement according to the present invention may further comprise one or more of the following ingredients:- Vitamin C, 500 mg to 1000 mg- Magnesium, 200 mg to 300 mg- Gamboge fruit, 100 mg to 300 mg- Zinc, 10 mg to 50 mg, and- Chrome, 50μg to 90μgPeptides from fish help to stabilise the gut flora, leading to a better absorption of nutrients and better metabolism, which at the same time normalises the blood sugar. The above are all factors which contribute to better weight control. Ketones from raspberries help to bring the body into ketosis in 2-3 hours (so that the body is burning fat cells instead of glucose), faster than the body manages of its own accord, and glucomannan which mainly helps to reduce the feeling of hunger by swelling up and filling a part of the stomach (Glucomannan increases its volume by up to 200 times when it comes into contact with liquid.). It is important that the minimum daily dose is 3 to 4 grams, as otherwise glucomannan serves no particular purpose. Thus, there is a combination of three different and unique components, where each contributes individually to weight reduction, but together they make it both easier and faster.Glucomannan (cognac root /amorphohallus cognac) is a dietary fibre from the cognac root. The fibre binds water/liquid by swelling up and/or expanding in the stomach, which in addition will give a feeling of satiety. The EU list of health claims approved for use in marketing glucomannan states that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of minimum one gram each. If the dose is increased to 1.33 g three times daily (totalling 4 grams per day), the following documented claim may also be used: glucomannan contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the body. In order for the claim to be used, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a minimum daily intake of 4 g of glucomannan. A further approved claim is that: Glucomannan in the context of an energy restricted diet contributes to weight loss. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1 g each, together with 1-2 glasses of water, before meals and particularly in the context of an energy-restricted diet.Raspberry ketones are used for weight reduction by reducing the volume of fat, and to give a better balance between body fat and muscle mass. Raspberry ketones can bring the body into ketosis in 2-3 hours. The ketones help to break down fat cells more effectively, and at the same time increase levels of the fat and sugarregulating hormone adiponectin in the body. This is a hormone which regulates metabolism (catabolism). With higher levels of adiponectin more glucose is available in the body and can be used for energy.Fish peptides, for example from salmon or white fish (hydrolysed fish peptides) are small protein components bound by amino acids. Research at Haukeland Hospital and in Canada shows that peptides can stabilise the blood sugar, enlarge the muscles and bum more fat. Fish peptides have been shown to stabilise the gut, so that both absorption of nutrients and metabolism are optimised. Studies show among other things that for instance salmon peptides may slow down obesity, and especially reduce abdominal fat, and increase the content of bile acid in the blood. It is known that higher levels of bile acid in the blood may reduce blood sugar and slow down the development of obesity (1). Other studies testing the effects of salmon peptides on overweight patients have shown that salmon peptides reduce the Body Mass Index (BMI) (2). When fat tissue increases in volume, people become overweight. The muscles and liver, which do not normally consist of fat, also suffer from the increase in fat tissue. If milk proteins are replaced by peptides in the diet, the study shows that the ability to bum fat increases (3). Fish peptides also help to normalise the level of cholesterol.The properties of the three main ingredients, glucomannan, raspberry ketones and fish peptides supplement each other, and are thus excellent for achieving weight reduction faster and more easily. The purpose of raspberry ketones is to bring the body into ketosis in two to three hours. When the body is in ketosis, it bums fat instead of carbohydrates, which will contribute to more rapid weight reduction. If the body is to be in a state of ketosis for long periods without assistance from “remedies”, it is important that the daily intake of carbohydrates is low (not above 100 g). Taking raspberry ketones is therefore an advantage in combination with glucomannan to reduce the feeling of hunger. Since the product is to be taken in three daily doses, minimum 300 grams will be added, so that the ketones have the described effect.Glucomannan is added to the product to help reduce the consumption of food and general snacking. This is a result of the way the product expands in the stomach and thus gives a feeling of being full. The objective is that the user will not go around feeling hungry, and in combination with the raspberry ketones can keep the body in ketosis for a longer period, and rapidly bring the body back into ketosis when a “normal” diet is consumed. A minimum of 4 grams per daily dose will be added, so that the glucomannan also helps to normalise the level of cholesterol, which can be desirable together with fish peptides if consumers choose a diet with a low level of carbohydrate (low-carb diet) at the same time.Fish peptides, for instance from salmon or white fish, is a relatively new product, and thus is not so widely known for its unique properties. Salmon peptides have shown excellent properties for optimising the bacterial flora in the gut, and consequently the body can better absorb the nutrients it needs, increasing energy level, and excreting what the body does not need. At the same time, salmon peptides have excellent qualities for normalising the blood sugar and cholesterol level. When the blood sugar is stable, the mood will also be more stable, and the need for carbohydrates is not so strong. A daily dose of 3 grams is preferable, but it must be understood that this daily dose may also be larger or smaller, for example from 1 gram to 15 grams.Studies have shown that fish peptides, for example from salmon and/or white fish also help to convert glucose to energy in the muscle cells instead of fat in fat cells. The users will have more energy and reduce their weight. When the blood sugar is balanced, the urge for snacking is also reduced. Taken together with ketones from raspberries, which help the body to break down its own fat when it lacks glucose or carbohydrates, it will also make faster and lasting weight loss possible.By combining glucomannan and fish peptides, the gut will be balanced, absorbing what the body needs and excreting the rest, while snacking and overeating will be prevented. Both glucomannan and salmon peptides, considered in isolation (separately), may contribute to good weight control, but the combination will form an excellent basis for a healthy, long-term weight reduction and weight control. The addition of raspberry ketones as well, with the help of the body’s own state of ketosis, will be a further help to reduce weight faster and more easily.The combination of the three ingredients will:1. Reduce cravings for sweet foods and increase the feeling of being full, and to a greater extent prevent snacking and overeating.2. Stabilise the gut flora, so that the body absorbs the right nutrients faster and better and also excretes the waste matter that the body does not need.3 . Ketones from raspberries help to bring the body into ketosis faster than the body can do it alone. In combination with glucomannan and peptides, the user will remain in ketosis for a longer time, feeling less hunger, with a stable blood sugar, which reduces the need for carbohydrates. Ketones/ketosis is used for weight reduction by reducing the volume of fat, and to give a better balance between body fat and muscle mass.4. The combination of glucomannan and peptides will help to normalise the level of cholesterol, so that consumption especially of foods low in carbohydrates and with a high fat content, when the body is in ketose with the help of ketones will only have slight side effects on blood counts in the body (which formerly has been and still is a problem).5 . With this combination it will be easier for the body to make use of and optimise its own capacity to reduce weight. It begins from inside, with a balanced gut, which forms the basis for long-term, safe and suitable weight reduction.These three main ingredients together will therefore be unique, and complement each other when they reduce feelings of hunger, stabilise blood sugar and enable the body to break down fat faster and more easily, excreting what the body does not need, and bringing the body faster and more easily into ketosis which lasts. In addition, the mixture will help to normalise the cholesterol level even with the intake of an, for instance, more fatty diet during a coincident low carb diet.This results in better and faster weight reduction, without feeling hungry, and without the need to change the lifestyle completely.Experimental studyIn the spring of 2019 qualitative studies were carried out using combination of these main ingredients (i.e. raspberry ketones, fish peptides and glucomannan as a complete product), in which four individuals tested the product for four weeks. Two test participants in the study were to eat and live as normal and take the combination according to the present invention three times a day as prescribed. Both test participants lost between 2 and 4 kilos. Two test participants in the study were to change their diet after they went into ketosis, where the intake of nutrition after this was to consist of carbohydrate -friendly meals together with 3 daily doses of the composition according to the present invention. The participants lost 8 and 10 kilos, respectively.Through another similar qualitative study, two more participants with relatively similar starting point went only on carbohydrate-friendly meals without consuming the product. These two individuals “only” lost 4 and 6 kilos.The purpose of the experimental study was to confirm the expected effect of the unique composition both with and without energy-saving diet such as, for instance, a low carb diet. All 4 test participants were classified as moderately overweight at the start of the study. The experimental study was conducted with the following composition and amount:Glucomannan fibre from cognac root . 3000 mgMarine peptides . 3000 mgVitamin C . 1000 mgMagnesium . 210 mgRaspberry ketones . 300 mgGamboge fruit . 150 mgZink . 10 mgChrome . 80 μgAnother 2 participants should also only go on a low carb diet.Those who completed the study with the powder (composition), should take this as prescribed/described. This means that participants should take 3 doses during the day in connection with breakfast, lunch and dinner, and 30 minutes before each of these meals.The experimental study showed that there seems to be a clear tendency that the composition having weight-reducing properties alone, and especially together with an energy-saving diet. Two of the participants thus lost weight despite living as normal as possible.An extended study was also carried out during the spring/summer of 2019, where a total of 20 participants tested the composition both with and without an energysaving diet. 16 of the participants achieved weight reduction, and another 2 participants experienced somewhat surprisingly to have lost 4-5 cm around the waist without losing weight, which should mean that the percentage of fat in the body had decreased and been replaced by muscles.The composition of the product has later been further optimized, by adding 1000 mg glucomannan (total 4000 mg) for as mentioned in the application to also could have an approved positive effect on cholesterol in the blood. Both experiments showed that the product has a good effect.The purpose of the composition for use as a diet balancing dietary supplement according to the present invention is to make it easier and more flexible than before for a user of the composition to lose weight. The composition should help the body to come into ketosis only two hours after ingestion, using raspberry ketones, while the user at the same time does not go around hungry as glucomannan increases the user’s feeling of satiety. This will help the user to reduce the total daily food intake. The body will be in ketosis for a longer time, and the user will lose weight. With a lower intake of food, however, the user's blood sugar may be affected. When the blood sugar is low, the body wants to replenish the blood sugar deposits with foods that have a high carbohydrate content, with an increasing desire for food. Salmon peptides have been shown to stabilise the blood sugar, so that this increased need for food is felt to a lesser degree. Scientists have also demonstrated that fish peptides help to convert glucose to energy in the muscles instead of fat in fat cells. The other ingredients in the composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement according the present invention have different supporting functions:ChromeChrome functions as a carbohydrate blocker, and facilitates the burning of carbohydrates and fat, and chrome also plays a part in a normal metabolism of macro-nutrients, and maintenance of a normal blood sugar level.Vitamin CVitamin C helps to maintain the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical training, also generally, and plays a part in normal collagen formation (which is of importance for the normal function of blood vessels and skin). Vitamin C also plays a part in normal energy metabolism, the normal function of the nervous system, protecting the cells against oxidative stress, and reducing tiredness and fatigue.MagnesiumMagnesium helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and plays a part in normal energy metabolism and muscle function and normal protein synthesis, and magnesium also plays a part in the process of cell division.Gamboge fruitContributes to weigh loss and contains HCA, which in a number of studies has shown good results in weight reduction. ZincZinc plays a part in normal carbohydrate metabolism, normal metabolism of macronutrients and normal metabolism of fatty acids and vitamin A, maintenance of normal vision, hair, nails and skin, and maintaining normal levels of testosterone in the blood, and also has a role in the cell-division process.The results associated with the three main ingredients in the composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement according to the present invention are all the more notable, since up to now their use has only been known individually for achieving a significant result in connection with weight reduction. Nevertheless, the particularly interesting results achieved in weight reduction cannot be observed by taking any of the previously known ingredients individually in doses as indicated.An unquestionable advantage of the composition for use as a diet-balancing dietary supplement according to the present invention lies therefore to a large extent in the interaction between raspberry ketones, fish peptides and glucomannan, when the ingredients together or in combination produce an extra triggering effect in connection with achieving faster and more long-lasting weight reduction.The invention has now been described with several non-limiting embodiment examples. Those skilled in the art will understand that a it is possible to implement a number of variations and modifications of the composition for use as a dietbalanced dietary supplement as described within the scope of the invention as it is defined in the appended claims. PATENT CLAIMS1. A composition for use as a diet-balanced dietary supplement, characterised in that the composition comprises the ingredients raspberry ketones, fish peptides and glucomannan.2. Composition according to claim 1,characterised in that the composition further comprises one or more of the following ingredients: vitamin C, magnesium, Gamboge fruit, Zinc and Chrome.3. Composition according to claim 1,characterised in that the weight dosage of the ingredients is:- 100 mg to 400 mg for raspberry ketones,- 1000 mg to 15000 mg for fish peptides, and- 1000 mg to 5000 mg for glucomannan.4. Composition according to claim 1 which appears in one of the following galenic forms:- gelatine capsules,- powder or granules to be rehydrated,- pills or tablets,- liquid or pasty presentation.
